Artistic Jihad 2012 is here!
www.artisticjihad.com

Artistic Jihad is a Muslim student art competition and exhibition organised by FOSIS. It is designed to promote Muslim student artists and build a network supporting students serious about the arts. We aim to showcase the work of up-and-coming artists and to highlight the increasing contribution of Muslims to society
After a storming success last year with the inaugural competition, featuring nearly 200 entries, we’re back for more! This year we welcome renown artists Ruh Al-Alam (visualdhikr.com) and Peter Sanders (petersanders.co.uk) as they rejoin us as judges. We are extremely delighted to welcome Reedah El-Saie, Director of MICA Gallery [TBC] (micagallery.com) and Abid Hussain, Arts Council England (artscouncil.org.uk) onto the judges panel.
The deadline to get your work in is the 2nd March 2012. Winning works will be displayed at an unmissable exhibition in Central London (venue tbc). They will then go on a nationwide tour across major cities in the UK, showcasing the exceptional talents of Muslim students!
Submit your work to be part of this great exhibition, we can guarantee that you will benefit from the outcome. This is your chance to contribute to society, to expose your skills and gain new experiences and opportunities.
Join the Artistic Jihad and involve your friends too!

  1. Assalaam alaikum.

Hi there, my name is Jubeyr Ahmed and i am intrigued by this venture. Can you please inform me exactly what format the artwork is allowed to be in, e.g.i have some canvases that i would like to enter into the competition, and so should i bring these along to the UBISOC?

    Jaza K,
